Top attractions in Palermo include the La Vucciria Market, Teatro Massimo and Piazza Quattro Canti.  Via Volturno is a popular shopping street that is known for its leather goods and traditional ceramics.

Palermo is also home to lovely botanical gardens.

Mount Pellegrino, near Palermo, is a popular tourist destination.  It features a panoramic view of the city. Monte Gallo, near Mondello Beach, also provides a great view.
