San Juan is a beautiful city and home to over 400 renovated Spanish 16th and 17th century buildings. It has a major seaport and one of the busiest cruise ports in the Caribbean.

Most cruise ships dock at the Old San Juan Piers. They are situated within walking distance of the city center.
Cruises that originate from San Juan, however, depart from the Pan American or Navy Frontier piers.

There is a free bus that shuttles visitors between sights in San Juan.
Bus service is available between San Juan and the San Juan International Airport.
