Bonaire Cruise Port

The cruise port on the island of Bonaire, in the Dutch Antilles, is located in the downtown area of Kralendijk (the capital city).

Cruise passengers can enjoy a pleasant walk along the Waterfront Promenade that runs just a couple of blocks away from the port

There is no need for a shuttle as cruise ships dock right near Wilhelmina Square in the city centre.

Visitor Information

Kralendijk Bonaire

The sleepy town of Kralendijk is known for its pastel-colored stucco houses.  Shopping is a popular activity along Kaya Grandi.

Island of Bonaire

The island of Bonaire is renown for its excellent diving and flamingos.  The island is surrounded by a marine park (Bonaire National Marine Park).

Sorobon Beach on the east side of the island is a popular destination due to its sheltered waters and excellent conditions for windsurfing.

Bonaire Currency

The official currency on the island is the US dollar.  Most major credit cards are also accepted.
