The cruise port that serves Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) is called Phu My.  It is located approximately 130 kilometers (80 miles) from the city.  Travel time is approximately 80 minutes.

The cruise terminal at Phu My is located in a commercial port area, far away from attractions. It is consequently advisable to purchase a tour directly from your cruise line.

A shuttle service is sometimes provided to the small town of Ba Ria which is located approximately 15 kilometers (10 miles) from the terminal.
