Guide to Cruise Ports and Terminals
The city of Da Nang is located between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Because the cruise port is situated in Chan May, northwest of Da Nang, transportation of some sort is required if you wish to visit Da Nang.
Many visitors opt for the excursions offered by their cruise company. Otherwise, one can often hire a cab and visit a local town or beach.
Although there is no port shuttle, taxis are normally available at the port gate.

The town of Hoi An is located southeast of Da Nang. It has a mixture of eastern and western cultures. Visitors to Hoi An can take a stroll through the town, visit a few shops and then walk to MyKhe Beach. The beach was a popular spot for military servicemen during the Vietnam War.
The imperial town of Hue was once home to the Nguyen Emperors. It is located northwest of the Chan May Cruise Port.
