Fukuoka is the sixth-largest city in Japan with a population of 2.5 million people. It is situated on Hakata Bay on the Japanese island of Kyushu. Fukuoka, which is sometimes called Hakata, is approximately 1,100 km from Tokyo.
The cruise port is located at the Bayside Place Hakata Pier. The two cruise ship terminals at the port are the Fukuoka Chuo Wharf and the Hakata Port International Terminal.
