Guide to Cruise Ports and Terminals
The island of Corfu is Greece's large, green Ionian Island. The main cruise port on the island is located within walking distance of the town of Corfu. If you are not up to a 20 minute walk, a local bus into town is available.
There is a free shuttle bus that you can catch from your ship to the port entrance. Alternatively, you can simply walk the 300 meters.
Bus service operates from the Town of Corfu to other island communities and beaches. The bus that connects the port to the town is bus #2, however, additional buses are sometimes added when large cruise ships arrive in port. Bus tickets on local buses cost 1,20 Euro.
Long distance bus services to points around Corfu Island leave from Saroko Square in the Old Town. Coach service also operates to Athens.
Hourly ferry service operates between Corfu and Igoumenitsa.
International ferries from Corfu Island operate to Brindisi, Bari and Venice.
