Guide to Cruise Ports and Terminals
Dubrovnik Croatia has become a popular destination for cruise ship passengers. There are two facilities used by most cruise ships:
Many cruise lines provide free shuttles between Gruz harbor and Dubrovnik's Old Town. Passengers are normally dropped of at Pile Gate, the main city gate for pedestrians to the Old Town.
Bus services runs from the cruise ship to the city centre. The following buses connect the port to the city centre: 1, 1A, 1B, 1C and 8. Bus tickets can be purchased at the newsstand located adjacent to the bus stop at a cost of 10 or 12 Kune. Please note that exact change in the local currency (Croatian Kune) is required. Travel time to the old town is approximately 20 minutes.
