Civitavecchia Cruise Port

Guide to Cruise Ports and Terminals

Civitavecchia Cruise Port

The town of Civitavecchia is home to Rome's cruise ship terminal.  It is located a long way from the city of Rome, so cruise passengers need to plan their transfers carefully.

The same thing is true for passengers transferring between Civitavecchia Port and either of Rome's two airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino).

The Civitavecchia railway station (Stazione di Civitavecchia) is the station that serves the Port of Civitavecchia.  It is a fifteen minute walk (800 meters) from the port entrance.

Note: When travelling between Civitavecchia Port and Fiumicino Airport, it might also be possible to transfer at Roma Termini or Roma Trastevere stations. Ask the ticket vendor which is best for you.
