Port Canaveral is one of Florida's four cruise ship ports and the third busiest cruise terminal in the world.  It is conveniently located just 45 miles east of Orlando.

Cruise ships depart from Port Canaveral for destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean.  Half-day gaming cruises also sail from the port.

Port Canaveral is used by a number of top cruise lines including Carnival, Disney, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean.

A number of companies provide shuttle service between Orlando and Port Canaveral.

Car Rentals

Many cruise passengers like to rent a car at Orlando Airport and drop it off at at the port.  Some car rental companies don't charge a drop-off fee for such one-way rentals.

Visitor Information

Port Canaveral

The top tourist destination near Port Canaveral is the Kennedy Space Center.   Visitors can take a tour of the launch pads and discover rockets, capsules, rovers and other paraphernalia from the American space program.

Plan to spend a full day at the Kennedy Space Center and don't miss the Imax films!
